What happened

I used my smartphone to book an emergency flight ticket for my cousin who was stranded in another city due to a last-minute cancellation. Her original flight got canceled unexpectedly, and she was really stressed out.

When it happened

This happened about six months ago, during the winter holidays. Most flights were fully booked, and the situation was quite tense because she had an important family event to attend the next day.

How important the cellphone/smartphone was

My smartphone was absolutely essential. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to search for available flights quickly, compare prices, and complete the booking instantly. I even coordinated with her over messaging apps to keep her updated in real time. It saved us a lot of time and hassle.

And explain how you felt about the experience

I felt really relieved and proud that I was able to help her using just my phone. It was one of those moments that reminded me how powerful and useful smartphones can be when used smartly. It gave me a sense of control and satisfaction.
