The person I’d like to talk about is my friend Ananya. She's a writer and a part-time philosophy student, which probably explains her deep and often unconventional way of thinking. Every conversation with her feels like a mental workout, but in the best way possible.
I met Ananya during a creative writing workshop about three years ago. We were paired together for a group project, and ever since then, we've stayed in touch and become good friends. We often meet at local cafés or online to share ideas, debate topics, and brainstorm writing concepts.
I think Ananya is someone with truly interesting ideas because she sees the world from multiple perspectives. She reads a wide variety of books—ranging from science to philosophy to psychology—and incorporates those ideas into everyday discussions. She once even questioned whether time truly exists or if it's a human-made concept, which completely blew my mind. It’s this kind of abstract, creative thinking that sets her apart.
I genuinely admire her. Talking to her always leaves me feeling inspired, and sometimes even a bit challenged in my thinking—which I believe is a good thing. She pushes me to question my assumptions and to look at problems more creatively. I feel lucky to have someone like her in my life who not only shares knowledge but also stimulates my intellectual curiosity.
