1. When it happened?

This memorable event took place about two years ago, shortly after I had completed my final university exams. It was in the summer, a time when I was eagerly waiting for my results and also thinking about the next phase of my life. The timing made the gift all the more meaningful, as it coincided with a transitional period for me.

2. Who gave you the money?

The money was gifted to me by my grandfather. He has always been a supportive figure in my life, and this gesture was no exception. Although he’s not someone who frequently gives monetary gifts, he made an exception this time, which made it even more special and heartfelt.

3. Why he/she gave you the money?

My grandfather gave me the money as a way to congratulate me for finishing university. He understood how stressful my final year had been, and he wanted to reward my efforts and perseverance. He mentioned that it was a small token to celebrate a big milestone, and he encouraged me to use it wisely—preferably on something that would help me in my career or personal growth.

4. And explain how you used the money

I decided to use the money to enroll in an online certification course related to digital marketing—something I’d always been interested in but hadn’t had the resources for. The course not only enhanced my skills but also helped me land a freelance project later on, which was a great confidence booster. So, in a way, the money became an investment in my future, and I’m truly grateful for that.
