You should say:
When and where you watched it
What it was
Why you watched it
And explain what you have learned from it
I watched the video around six months ago, in the comfort of my bedroom. It was during the evening when I had some free time after finishing my online classes. I came across the video while scrolling through YouTube on my laptop.
The video was a beginner’s guide to financial literacy, titled “How to Manage Your Money – Budgeting 101”. It was created by a well-known personal finance YouTuber. The content focused on basic money management skills, including budgeting, saving, and understanding financial priorities.
I watched it because I realized that despite earning some money from part-time work, I wasn’t really saving much. I often found myself spending impulsively without tracking where my money went. So, I wanted to learn how to create a simple budget and make smarter financial decisions.
From this video, I learned how to categorize my expenses into needs, wants, and savings. The creator introduced the 50/30/20 rule, which helped me allocate my income more wisely. I also discovered useful apps for tracking spending. Since then, I’ve been more conscious about my spending habits and have even started saving a small portion of my income each month.
