It was around six months ago, during my college winter break. I had just learned a new photo editing software and wanted to share what I’d learned with others.
The software I learned was Adobe Lightroom. It’s a powerful tool used for editing and enhancing photographs. I had spent a couple of weeks exploring its features, watching tutorials, and practicing with my own photos.
I showed it to a few of my college friends who are also into photography. They often take great pictures but didn’t really know how to professionally edit them, so they were curious to learn.
We held a small, informal workshop at my place. I connected my laptop to the TV screen and gave a step-by-step demo of the editing process. I explained each tool, answered questions, and even let them try it themselves using their own photos.
I felt really proud and happy. It was satisfying to share something valuable and see others benefit from it. Watching my friends get excited and improve their photos made me feel confident and appreciated. It also made me realize how much I enjoy teaching and helping others.
