You should say:
It happened about a year ago, during the final week before my university graduation. It was a particularly intense time because I had multiple deadlines converging at once—final project submissions, last-minute presentations, and exams all scheduled within just a few days.
I was at my university campus most of the time, but I also spent long hours in my apartment working late into the night. The library and computer lab became my second home during that week.
I was juggling several responsibilities. I had to finalize a group research project, rehearse a presentation, study for my final exams, and also submit a portfolio for one of my design classes. On top of that, I was helping organize a small farewell event for our department, so I barely had time to breathe!
I was busy because everything was happening at once, and I didn’t have the option to delay or skip anything. Each task was important for my academic success and future career. I had to manage my time very carefully, prioritize tasks, and stay focused to meet all the deadlines. Although it was stressful, it was also rewarding to see everything come together in the end.
