Sample Answer (Band 7+)

I have always been fascinated by wildlife, but one experience that stands out vividly in my memory is when I saw an elephant in its natural habitat. It happened about two years ago when I visited Jim Corbett National Park in India with my family.

During our jeep safari, we were eagerly looking for tigers, but instead, we had an incredible encounter with a herd of elephants. One of them, a massive tusker, stood just a few meters away from our vehicle. The sight of such a majestic creature in the wild was both thrilling and a little intimidating. At one point, the elephant flapped its ears and let out a loud trumpet, which made everyone in the jeep freeze for a moment. Thankfully, our guide assured us that it was just a warning sign, and we slowly moved away without disturbing them.

The entire experience left me in awe of nature. Seeing a wild animal in its own environment, rather than in a zoo, made me appreciate the beauty and power of wildlife even more. It also reinforced the importance of conservation efforts to protect such magnificent creatures.

Follow-up Questions and Answers

In my country, India, we have a diverse range of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, leopards, deer, and many species of birds. National parks and wildlife sanctuaries are home to these incredible creatures.

2. How do people in your country feel about wild animals?

Most people respect and admire wild animals, but unfortunately, habitat destruction and poaching remain significant issues. However, awareness about conservation is growing, and many initiatives are being taken to protect endangered species.

3. Have you ever been to a zoo or a wildlife sanctuary?
