An alarming rate of global increase in pollution has made it one of the issues that refuses to move.

Where the place is?

In my opinion, there aren't many places on earth that have been touched by humans that are pollution-free. To avoid deviating too much, let's talk about Ambala, a nearby city that is the most polluted. In the state of Haryana, there are two separate cities called Ambala: the city and the cantonment area.

When you visited?

I last travelled to Ambala in January of 2021. People in Ambala are experiencing a wide range of health-related problems as a result of various types of pollution, including air, water, and noise pollution.

Why the air was not good?

Everyone owns a car or a motorcycle and commutes back and forth constantly in this allegedly most populous city in India. The amount of pollution released by trucks, buses, and other vehicles on the road is higher than what they are designed to produce. Air pollution has made the majority of city dwellers more susceptible to respiratory illnesses like asthma. In order to lower the AQI levels, Ambala needs to receive the highest priority.

As a result of the poor air quality, many people became ill and even lost their lives, and I was completely devastated.

Introduction

Well, pollution is now a significant threat. Finding a place that is pollution-free has become difficult. I want to talk about a location today where I went and discovered that the air was extremely polluted.

Where the place is?

My friends and I decided to travel to Delhi during my XII year's winter break in order to see attractions like the India gate and the parliament house. These are Delhi’s well-known tourist destinations.

When you visited?

The trip took place in December. When we got there, our excitement completely dissipated. We had all been very excited to go there.

Why the air was not good?

Given that Delhi has a large population and a high vehicle usage rate, the temperature was 31 degrees Celsius and air pollution was at its worst. I'm from Chandigarh, so when I lived there, I never experienced excessive pollution; however, in Delhi, I had a lot of problems with tanning and other skin-related issues. Even I noticed that the locals weren't dealing with many issues. With that pollution, I believed they would develop habits. Smoke produced by the industries is another factor contributing to Delhi’s air pollution.

My friends and I went there for our enjoyment and fun so at that time we were happy but we cannot live there permanently. I hope the government will have some kinds of campaigns or TV shows to raise people’s awareness of protecting the environment and plant more trees in the city to improve air quality. So, this is the place where I visited and found air pollution.

Overall, I had a terrible time on the trip. It helped me understand the value of protecting the environment and taking action to lower pollution levels for a better future.
